IBU delegacija briljira na PIMUN 2024. konferenciji u Parizu
Delegacija Internacionalnog Burch univerziteta od sedam studenata, u pratnji profesorice Lejle Ramić Mesihović, uspješno je predstavljala naš univerzitet na prestižnoj PIMUN 2024. konferenciji, održanoj u Parizu od 31. maja do 4. juna. Posebno smo ponosni na dvoje naših studenata Aidu Topić i Affana Saračevića, koji su svojim izvanrednim radom u konkurenciji od čak 800 studenata zaslužili nagrade "Honourable Mention". U delegaciji su također bili Lamija Vehabović, Hana Suljević, Patrick Dominic Wright, Emina Alilović i Enis Mlivić. Čestitamo cijeloj delegaciji na njihovom trudu i postignućima!
Pariški međunarodni Model Ujedinjenih nacija (PIMUN) je konferencija Model Ujedinjenih nacija koja se održava u Parizu, a organizuje je Comité interuniversitaire des Nations unies de Paris (CINUP). Ovaj komitet okuplja preko dvadeset univerzitetskih udruženja u Parizu, sa fokusom na međunarodne odnose. Nakon petnaest godina održavanja, pariška konferencija je stekla globalni uticaj, privlačeći stotine studenata sa svih kontinenata svake godine. Ovi učesnici putem simulacija diplomatskog rada osmišljavaju rješenja za savremena pitanja poput klimatskih promjena, migracionih kriza, političkih identiteta i međudržavnih sukoba. Posjeta Parizu završila je prijemom kod ambasadorice BiH u Parizu, NJ. E. Bojane Kondić Panić.

IBU Delegation Shines at PIMUN 2024 Conference in Paris
A delegation from Burch University consisting of seven students, accompanied by Professor Lejla Ramić Mesihović, successfully represented our university at the prestigious PIMUN 2024 conference held in Paris from May 31st to June 4th. We are particularly proud of two of our students, Aida Topić and Affan Saračević, who, with their outstanding work among a competitive pool of 800 students, earned 'Honourable Mention' awards. The delegation also included Lamija Vehabović, Hana Suljević, Patrick Dominic Wright, Emina Alilović, and Enis Mlivić. Congratulations to the entire delegation on their effort and achievements!
The Paris International Model United Nations (PIMUN) is a Model United Nations conference held in Paris, organized by the Comité interuniversitaire des Nations unies de Paris (CINUP). This committee brings together over twenty university associations in Paris, focusing on international relations. After fifteen years of existence, the Paris conference has gained global influence, attracting hundreds of students from all continents each year. Through simulations of diplomatic work, these participants devise solutions for contemporary issues such as climate change, migration crises, political identities, and interstate conflicts. The visit to Paris concluded with a reception hosted by the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Paris, Her Excellency Bojana Kondić Panić.
